Australia's first private, women's only sex club is throwing its inaugural play party in Sydney on Saturday. Skirt Club began in London three years ago and has outposts across the US. Sydney's sold out soiree, held at a private residence in the CBD, will host 50 women, many of whom will dress up and use a pseudonym throughout the evening. Daily Life asks director and co-owner Renee Nyx and Sydney host Jessica Wilder what the underground community has come to mean to women - and how it is changing relationships around the world.

The Rules have changed

What It's Like at an All-Female Sex Party | POPSUGAR Love & Sex
Skirt Club runs two levels of events. First is Mini Skirt, a monthly, try-it-on-for-size, post-work social event, usually in a bar, where newbies basically meet other women, sip champagne and cocktails, maybe catch some burlesque, network, exchange numbers and see what the concept is all about. Certainly that was the experience in Sydney, says Ms LeJeune, in Melbourne for the launch of the newest club. It was quite full-on initially and we had a huge influx of applications to join the membership. Skirt Club has strict approval, membership and confidentiality requirements : The first rule of Skirt Club is you do not talk about Skirt Club.

Inside Skirt Club, the Secret, Worldwide Sex Party for Bisexual Women
In a closet across from the tub, a woman is using a vibrator and moaning loudly. The rest of the master suite is crowded with limbs and faces buried between legs. The air smells like sex, but sweeter—perfume, plus sweat, minus men—and marijuana.

There's more to Skirt Club than sex, especially since sex isn't technically allowed at these parties. LeJeune has done something different with intimacy by incorporating food and education along with nudity, of course into her parties. So, why'd you start Skirt Club?
