I tried this recipe with different type of fish: salmon, cod, halibut, flounder. But this is the first time I m making it with a whole Branzino. I served it with a side of chickpeas which was absolutely delicious.
- 1 whole branzino
- 1 red pepper slice in thin stripes
- 1/4 cup of fresh cilantro
- 1/4 fresh parsely
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 3 tbsp of tomato sauce
- salt
- paprika
- 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
In a large pan that could fit the fish, heat up the oil with the garlic, herbs and spices on low fire. Immediately add 1/4 cup of cold water and stir. Let it cook for about 10min. Lay the fish on top and with a spoon pour the sauce over so its covered evenly. Covered and cook on a low fire for 15 to 20 minutes.
