How many different ways can you cook chicken breast? The options are endless. But when its 80 degrees outside and the only thing you have in mind is “eating light” for dinner, what’s the best recipe. I was staring at my chicken and wanted to try something new by mixing different spices but was worried it would come out dry so I added lemon juice. I don’t recommend baking it in the oven because it will dry and the taste will not be the same. I sautéed it on the pan and was happy with the results. I served it with sautéed okra. Perfect summer dinner, healthy and tasty!
1 pound of chicken breast
1 tbsp of spicy paprika
1 tbsp of cumin
1 tbsp of garlic powder
salt and pepper
juice from half a lemon
1 tbsp of olive oil
2 tbsp of fresh cilantro
In a small box, mix the salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, lemon juice, olive oil and cilantro.
Marinate the chicken in this sauce for about 30minutes in the fridge.
Heat up 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet and sautéed the chicken for about 6 to 7 minutes on each side.
