Sea salt chocolate chip cookies

Growing up in morocco we didn’t have too many sweets. Only for shabbat and holidays, my mother used to make delicious desserts but with very limited amount of sugar and chocolate. Needless to say that Nutella only appeared when I was 12 or 13 and already realized I had a sweet thooth. So I had to limit the amount of sweets I was eating otherwise I would be a on sugar high all day.

Cookies are the easiest dessert to bake as long as you know how you like them. Soft or crunchy. I personally think that soft are the best because you can still feel the chocolate melt in your mouth and before finishing the first cookie you already have a second one in the hand.

1 cup of margarine or butter

2 1/2 cups of flour

2 eggs

1/2 cup Brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

2 tbsp vanilla extract

1 cup of chocolate chips

3 cups of instants oats

1/4 tsp baking soda

1 tsp sea salt
Mix the margarine and sugar. Add flour, baking soda, eggs and vanilla extract. Mix very well and add the chocolate chips, oats and sea salt. Bake at 325 for 15min or longer if you would like them crunchy.
